I stopped eating there years ago. I don't even think we have any of their restaurants in town, even though they're HQed here.

There are over 400 people infected with Hepatitis A and two have died. They still don't know what happened, other than everyone can be connected to someone who ate at that one Chi-Chi's.

One employee did fall into a category considered at high risk for hepatitis A, as identified by the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. But that employee tested negative for the virus, Stella said.


High-risk people include household or sex partners of infected people, travelers to countries with high rates of hepatitis A, men who have sex with men, and drug users, both injecting and noninjecting

ONE EMPLOYEE!!!! that has to be the funniest thing i ever read. one drug user or gay at a restaurant? WTF?? who the heck do they think they are kidding?

My wife and mother ate at that Chi-chis back in July. I didn't go along, I was smart.

Yeah, my mom has been giving me updates on the situation as she hears them. She lives about 30-40 minutes from there.

The last time I went to a Chi-Chi's was about 3 years ago, and I remember being really pissed. The service and food were utterly horrible. The entire staff (all black) made a point of looking quite offended with my girl and I (both white) wanting to eat there. The place was a dump. I noticed the other day that they're closed, good fvckin riddance.
