It's a completely wasted cost. I don't go to hospitals or doctors, and I never will. Fucking fascist in the white house.

85 bucks a month is dirt cheap. As soon as you're responsible for anyone but yourself, it's a necessity.

People with horrible diseases should be left to die. We're ruining the gene pool.

Without Obamacare I pay $330/month for family coverage and my employer is paying $800+ a month.

I don't necessarily agree with insurance companies getting in the middle (they have too much clout because they tamper with what they'll pay for and how much they'll pay to turn a profit) I'd rather see that industry as a non-profit org setup so the middleman is less inclined to rip us off.

LOL $85.

To be fair, that IS bullshit, as you get dick-all for that $85. The cheapest plans for me were like 130. Something worth half a fuck was like 265.

Did you other guys who used the healthcare.gov crap get BCBS spam, or is that just my state? I had like 80 plans to choose from, and 70 of them were BCBS high deductible plans.

I don't understand how anyone tolerates that shit. High deductible (...any forced deductible) used to be the awful cheap crap that you didn't ever want to get stuck with. Now people just accept it, and seem to not even understand the whole 'you must pay 3-5k before it they will even pay money for a routine doctor visit' thing. It's the best scam since 'Cash 4 Gold' places. Or Jesus.

$85/ month, what is your deductible $5000?

So, you will pay $1020/ year and the first $5000. So $6,020 before you see any benefits.
I am thankful, I have employer health care.

I think I'm just going to say 'fuck it' and not sign up. As if I could, anyway...website still broken.

I'm going to lock myself out of my house, sleep in the yard, and file an exemption based on being homeless for 24 hours. Even that might be more effort than it deserves.

If you're over 35, you're a leech on society.

Depending on young people with OMG BALLER annual incomes of over 20k to subsidize your healthcare costs makes you a piece of shit.

Or you're under 35 and you just have no idea what you're defending.

My employer pays a little over 1k a month for my medical, dental and vision. My share is about $100 a month. No deductible and $15 office visits. Cost me $50 (emergency room visit) to have my gallbladder removed.

Good thing that you're given stuff for [practically] free, or else you'd be in no position to constantly complain about the goddamned entitled freeloaders in this country. Fucking hippies and their desire to not have cancer and shit.

I'm poor and 32 years old. I haven't gone to a hospital or doctor for myself in more than 12 years. I think the last time was when I went to a free clinic for an antibiotic sample when I was 20 or 22.

$85/mo for something I'm not going to use is highway robbery. That's WITH the "tax credits" applied.

I refuse to take part in the healthcare industry. It's for rich people.
