Headsets: Logitech G35 vs. Tritton AX 720

Hi guys, I'm at an impasse. I'm currently looking into purchasing a new headset for PC gaming, and I've narrowed it down to these two after some research, and I cannot finalize on which one will be a better purchase, so I'm hoping for some feedback and thoughts from you guys who own or have used these headsets.

One thing I like about the Tritton is that it also works with consoles, which means I have the option to plug it into my PS3 if I was inclined. How is the directional audio on these two? I've never used a headset with surround sound before, so I have no idea what it's like.

These are both 2.0 headsets that use HRTFs to simulate 5.1 positional audio. IMO the effect is far better than the gimmick headphones with individual drivers for each surround channel.

Both headsets use Dolby Headphone to take a 5.1 source and simulate it over the 2.0 headphone drivers. When they claim 7.1 the effect is 2 extra speakers (assuming a 5.1 source) that are interpolated via Dolby's Pro Logic IIx, so neither will be true 7.1, not that it really matters.

The G35 is heavy, and if you have a big head (literally, not figuratively), it'll be kinda uncomfortable. Otherwise, it did perform well.
