So recently my dog ate through my Steelseries Siberia headset cord. He almost got thrown off the balcony. But moving on, I'm looking for a headset that will be good for fps. Any thoughts? I'm looking to spend $100~ but I can go up or down on that.

The Sennheiser PC350 si the best headset money can buy, but if you can't afford that, go fro anything in the PC1xx Headset series from sennheiser. I personally have the PC166 and I LOVE it, I get comments on how clear my mic is. The sound is great as well.

So between the Sennheiser HD555 and the PC350, what makes either the better pick for gaming? Also, what would be a good sound card to match with either?

I currently have the SteelSeries 5Hv2 paired with a Razer Barracuda AC-1. For gaming it's great but I find it's lacking for music. However, I find that this is probably the most comfortable headset that I've ever used, I've gone on all day wearing it without any discomfort. As for comparisons, I've used a Steelseries Siberia with the X-Fi Fatal1ty edition and I prefer my setup over it. I've never used the Sennheiser so I can't really say anything about those. But from what I've heard they are better all around.

I bought a pair of Turtle Beach Ear Force X-52 headphones. Very comfy and have 5.1 Surround sound. They actually have 8 speakers to produce the 5.1, so it's real surround sound. The microphone is very clear and can even be removed when just doing some music listening. Plus, they're only $45. I've read somewhere that they're very very similar to the Barracuda AC-1, but 1/2 the price.
