Headset question.

I have a slight problem with hooking a headset up to my computer. I have a pair of beats solo headphones and they have a built in microphone/control unit, and i would like to use them on my computer as a headset, but the phones only have the single plug for phones and mic, and the computer has two separate jacks. So what i'm wondering if there is a way to do this. I thought maybe there might be a splitter that could separate it into 2 plugs, or if there is a external sound device that supports the single plug. Any advice would be great!
