Newegg has the Energy S10.3 for sale for $200 again. I grabbed it last time it was this price and have been very pleased with it thus far. It's very tight and musical and while it doesn't as deep as some more expensive units its been fine for the movies I've used it with. I don't think you'll find a better sub for the price. Closest match would probably be a BIC F12 but I'd spend the extra $10 and get this one. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-82269026-L02B

That's a great little HT sub. Corner load it and I'll bet you could get down to 20Hz (+/- 6db). Really good price too.
You could get 2 of these for $200 total:

sale ends in 2 days....
Hmmm. My first reaction would be to write this off, but then I thought, "Buy two? Hell, you could get three, add some poly fill to them, block the ports, and stack them all in a corner. I'll bet they would almost shake your teeth loose.

The Energy would be really good for most music, as long as there's no pipe organ. But I think it would struggle with movies, unless you corner load in a small room.
