Coming out in April, you can catch the first six pages, the covers and a bunch of other art and information over at Transformers.net. Art for the six issue miniseries is by Pat Lee (AMAZING artist)... too bad he won't be doing the regular series (only the covers).

I stopped following their comics after a little while, the art style is heavily influenced by Manga. In terms of the storyline, that too is influenced by Manga, hence the darker and more adult material.

Although it does look like it may be a little to influenced by Manga for my tastes.. (RiD.. ugh.. nasty) Being the hardcore orginal series, G1 fan that I am I'll definitely pick 'em up.

There's more than meets the eye, you know...

Btw, my heart was broken when I was 5 when I watched the Transformers movie. How could they let Optimus die? Those bucking fastards..

Yo there were actually two episodes, in the season after the movie or something, where they brought back Optimus Prime. TERRIBLE episodes though. Ugh...
