Heads up for bigadv Folders...

Base points for all bigadv WU have been dropped from 50% over regular SMP to only 20%, so expect to see a considerable drop in points. My latest return was about 30,000 points less for a ~17 hour WU.

There are already some people talking about selling off systems, so who knows if this change will last.

Keep on Folding! 🙂

On a more positive note, I just installed the V7 client on XP, and it automagically configured itself for four GPUs in the system. I didn't have to assign slots or anything. I set it to run as a Windows Service, and for all users.

Thanks for the info Animal! 🙂 I do have a couple of Questions though, Why are they dropping? Not that the point structure really matters to me as much. Are some people complaining? I suppose most do not have the serious Hardware to achieve these points huh?

Glad to see they are normalizing the points system more than it had been with the bigadv WUs. Now if only they would implement the QRB for GPUs and 64 bit client for Windows.
