Headwise or Head-fi all both excellent sources of information on headphones.

I'm no expert on this, but there is a mass purchase of (Koss?) headphones going on in the Head-fi marketplace forum that may be right up your alley. Or, for about $60-80 ( a little higher than you wanted to spend) people rave about the Grado 60's.

Goto best buy, they have AIWA closed headphones for $30 and they are great. Incredible sound and a 10foot cord too.

koss sportapro are pretty good for ~$30

www.headphone.com has em for $29

they're exactly the same as the portapro for $60... well that was the word a few months ago.

Don't think you'll find anything really better than the sportapro for ~30$... it might be better in some way but worse in another. Overall tho i think its yer best bet.

Grando SR60s are ~$60 and might be worth it if you really care about sound quality. How long does it take to save up $30?
