I am looking for some headphones to use on my computer. Most of the stuff I use it for is gaming and a little music and movies. I would like over the ear type. Thanks.

I have some Sennehiser HD280 Pro's, which are pretty damn good. Well made, great quality, noise cancelling (passive), and I picked them up for about $70 around christmas. The one gripe I did have with them is that out of the box they were pretty tight. Eo fix it I just left them stretched over my Antec 300 when I wasn't using them for a couple weeks

20 years ago, the MDR-V6 was considered the best headphones for under $200. $72 shipped is a pretty good price. Unlike current headphone models from Sony, these aren't all plastic. The V6, and its successor 7506, is extensively used in radio and TV production. I bought my second pair about 8 years ago so I could have a pair at work.

Sony makes horrible speakers. But these cans are widely regarded as somewhat awesome.

Only complaint is that if you turn the volume control all the way down it doesn't actually mute the sound, it's just quiet. http://www.amazon.com/Sennheis...&qid=1245629719&sr=8-2

Those would require a headphone amp to sound good, like, at all.
