headphones

I just bought some headphones, the panasonc RP-HS43. when i opened it, i noticed that the chord on one earpiece was longer than the other, something I have never ever seen before. My sister told me that it sounds better that way or something, but I've never heard of it. can anyone tell me about it???

if they're ear buds, it's so that the longer cord goes behind your neck. This way you can pull the ear buds out of your ears and have them dangle around your neck rather than fall to the floor.

The model you stated is a clip-on model. Like the poster above mentioned, the longer wire goes behind your neck. The longer length of 1 wire has no effect on the sound quality of the headphones.

what he said. The PSP ear buds were like that and confused me as well until I found out that's how they work.

Like the above said, it goes around the back of your neck, making the cord equally as long on each sides. No hang. =]
