Better headphones can be had for the price of the V700.
Another vote for the Sennheiser HD497. Good headphones for a good price, I use it for gaming and listening to music on my computer while the Stax is reserved for the CD player.

I dunno dude, when it comes to power capacity, and the swivel ears...they kick ass.
All I know is Louie Devito uses them. Good enough for me.
