What are some good headphones in the $25-$30 range? I know I can't get nothing to special in this price range but whats the best set I can get for this price? This will be for PC use mainly and will be using a Audigy sound card if that matters.

Here's a PM i got from the Cerb, the original poster:

"Anyway...in the thread "Headphones...and I'm picky :)" you recommended the Koss KSC50 headphones. Being a bit cheap I waited until I could get them with free shipping, and they finally got here. All I can say is: Wow.
I've heard better, but not from anything under $80. Thanks a million for pointing them out."

KSC-50.

ksc 35's if you can find them.

Other than that sportapro's, portapro's, ksc50's, ksc55's. All use the same driver. They're really very amazing headphones.

So the Koss KSC50's are some good headphones for the price? I can get a set for about $17 or so shipped. Is that a good price or does anyone have a link to someone with them cheaper?

I've got the KSC50s, and if I went again I'd get the portapros.
The 50s sound very good for their price, but they are too heavy, and they make your ears feel like they are flopping about. I was using them while walking to work, and I had to push them to my ears to get good sound. So I dumped them and got a pair of Sennheiser MX400 in ear ones instead.

Apparantly the neck band corrects this problem, and makes them much more comfortable to wear - so I'd go for the portapros.

Went ahead with the KSC50's and I like them alot. After 20min or so of use the clips do start bothering my ears but its no biggie. Just need to get use to them.

I have the Sony MDR-V300 headphones. They were $50 at Best Buy, and I like them very much.
