Headphones similar to the Sony V6 but are a little smaller?

I'm looking for a good pair of closed headphones for <$80.

I've been leaning towards the V6's but they just seem too big to wear around all day.

Do you guys have any other suggestions?

just get the V6. they are the best cans for the money. smaller than that and you'd sacrifice sound quality.

Nope, virtualgames0 has it correct.

Senn HD-280

Actually, I retractthat sort of. If you don't know headphones, the HD-280s ar ethe best. FI you lsiten to a specific genre of music, the Sony's might be better.

If you want isolation and a small size, consider the Shure e2c. Not a sealed headphone, but serves the purpose of isolation and they are in-ear, so far from bulky..

EDIT: My keyboard is borken aopparently. Just try decoding my sentences.

Used Audio Technica A500s would be what I would recommend... but they're freaking huge...
so grab an HD280. There are used ones that come up for around 70ish

agreed. totally depends on what kind of music you listen to. im happy with my HD-497 but people may find the bass to be lacking. however i like it this way.

Keep in mind what kind of business ethics you're supporting when you purchase a Sony product... the 280s are better anyway. E2s are nice, but you definitely make a sacrifice for the small size & portability.
