I currently have some Sennheiser PC150 headphones where the left ear is starting to rattle with heavy bass and any volume above 40%. Should I get these replaced or is there anything else I can do to fix it (doubtful)? Besides the 'ol knock it around till it goes away method.

If the driver is covered, I'd say there's an excellent chance it's just a hair against the driver.

Does it have any kind of mesh/cloth cover over the driver? If so, and you can remove it, do do and clean it. If it has one but you can't remove it, get a nice blue/white light ('cold' fluorescent, LED flashlight, etc.) and some tweezers, and search for hairs.

I was able to get the hard cover mesh off which actually just has the connection underneath. The connection looked stable, but I blew some compressed air in there to clear out dust and other stuff. Still had some bad rattling. Then I took the compressed air and sprayed it through the actual hard mesh. (Note: The hard mesh doesnt actually come off, it seems to be integrated over the top of the actual thing, but you can open up and look at the connection (2 wires)). Anyways after blowing some compressed air over the mesh it seems to sound a lot better.
