headphones help plz

hey guys i have a current 5.1 setup in my house with my klipsch 5.1 audio system but i was thinking of getting a set of headphones and i was thinking of this

Zalman ZM-RS6F Real Surround Sound Headphones

anything good or bad about these??

Well, if you look around you can find a few reviews on the net about them. Tomshardware.com comes to mind as one of the more recent ones. From what I have read it has only gotten lukewarm reviews, and these are by computer hardware tech sites. I shudder to think what an audiophile review would have to say about these. Apparently the virtual surround sound that regular headphones use is as effective a reproduction as anything out there, much less the bulky multiple drivers in the Zalman.

Go to head-fi.org and do a search on games OR gaming OR game under their headphones forum. The people over there REALLY know what they are talking about as far as headphones go, and there are tons of threads on this issue. Be prepared for the customary greeting though, Welcome to Head-Fi and sorry about your wallet!

Good time to see this topic, guess what I am using, a Plantronics Audio 90 as I type this and all I can say is WOW what a headset. I got this to use it for Teamspeak playing Planetside but the sound out of these is top notch. I just purchased this headset this morning. You may not be looking for a headset with a microphone but just wanted to let you know this is a good one.
