Headphones Choice

i am looking for headphones mainly for playing games (cs:s, doom3, farcry, etc.) so i am not looking for outrageous sound quality, just want something that looks nice and sounds nice for the money...which at this point is around $30 and no more than $60 but done even really want to do that. anway i have been looking at the sony's and found two, one being a model higher, but just wondering if there is really a $30 dollar price difference in sound or just a different band and some frills. also if there are any other headphones in that price range ( mainly $30) that you guys know of, let me know. thanks

these are the two i was wondering if people know the difference:
Sony MDR-XD200 - $30

Sony MDR-XD300 - $60

also found these: Sennheiser HD202 - $30
( right now i have an old hand-me-down pair of Sony MDR-v505 's and they are nice, if anyone can find the specs on those that would be nice (the earpiece cover is falling apart and the pieces keep getting in my ear 🙂)

Koss PortaPro. These guys are real nice, portable, and give great bass, full range, best bang for buck imho.

you can find them for 32$-49$ depending where you look. Lifetime warantee etc. Good stuff. I use these when I am not using my Grado SR125

so you guys are saying no to the sony's?
Hmmm . . . yeah. I'm firmly in the Sennheiser camp. Good headphones, replaceable parts, not too expensive . . . what's not to like. (I'm sure someone has something. :disgust: )
