Headphone suggestions

I've been thinking about it, and I finally decided I'm going to get a pair of decent headphones (with a mic). Does anyone have any good suggestions on a good quality one that's maybe under $30...or is that too low for a good one? No need for any fancy surround sound stuff, just one that will last.

Below $30 is cuttin it kinda close...but try the Sennheiser PC-150. They are very comfy and sound pretty damn good for a $35-40 mic.

if you only have $30 then i guess just buy the most expensive pair at walmart and hope for the best. 🙂

seriously, that's too low. for $50-80 you can get something nice tho.

yeah, the grados are really nice, but i find them highly unpractical; you can't use them in public because the sound escapes and bothers everyone around you, and they are not very comfortable to wear. that said, they sound phenominal.

i would say for your price range look at a decent set of senn's. i personally always go for the circumaural designs that block all noise from going in/out.

i have koss r-80s and bose triports which i really enjoy, but they are probably out of your price range. the koss ones come with a lifetime warranty which is nice, but don't sound as good as either the bose ones or the grados i tried.
