Headphone Remote for iPhone 2G

2G is the nomenclature for the 1st iPhone, which had EDGE support (a 2G system). Otherwise iPhone is ambiguous.
 
Yeah, I'm with Virge, iPhone by itself is ambiguous. iPhone 2G may not be the correct name, but at least it's not confusing.

Anyway, back to the OP's question... I don't understand what a headphone remote is...?
