Headphone Comparison Under $100

Right now I'm looking at the HD-280, HD-497, MDR-V6, and MDR-7506

From what I'm reading so far the HD-497 sounds better than the MDR-V6 and is cheaper too. The 280 and 7506 both runs at $99.
Anyone have some opinions on what I should buy?

I have the MDR-V6s and am very pleased. If you haven't already checked out Headwize, do so before you buy.

Well it's more of a toss up between the HD-497 and the MDR-v6. I don't know which one to get since I heard from head-fi that the 497 is better than the V6 but I don't trust it so I'm asking you guys.

Both are very comparable in sound quality and comfort.
If you want open headphones, get the 497's.
If you want closed, get the V-6's.

I would go with the MDR-7506. They're used in practically every recording studio because of their comfort and accuracy.
