I got a ticket becasue of the headlight
I went to my freind's home which is 3-5 miles from my home
and on the way I returned home(around 10pm),I forgot to turn the headlight on,just turned the light to the parking light
I didn't find any cop follow me till I opened my garage door ,I think it's at the last crossroad that the cop met me.
the ticket cose me $91
Is that too expensive for a headlight ticket?
Do I need to go to court?

why wouldn't you have the headlights on at 10pm..
are you stupid ? why risk yourself and anyone else that doesn't see you coming.
you deserve it. should it be a 91 dollar fine ? i dont think so.
but if that's the fine for not having the headlights on then so be it.

I was driving around one night when a fuse blew and I lost the instrument panel lights and all my tailights. No extras, but I was only a few miles from home on an empty road and I thought I could make it. Right then, a cop appears out of nowhere, pulls me over and gave me a ticket. The belief that fix-it tickets didn't cost anything died that night. I don't think you can fight these type of citations.

i see so many idiots driving without head lights.. its not funny.. nearly got into an accident the last time i was in an intersection.

in LA i would think these people are either gang members avoiding the law or something else like really stupid people.

I've done that once or twice. If you drive on lit roads, you don't really notice.

yep.. i've forgotten before (left parking lights on is the only way i forget cause the dash is all lit up)

Just be sure to hide your piece when the cop approaches your window... No need in getting a ticket for drive-by's too.

I keep extra fuses in the glove compartment for that reason. If something goes out, I can pull over and fix it.

I agree. Done that more then once myself. Also, seems to me that usually a fuse, at least for lights and such, blowing usually means there's a bigger problem, like an intermittent short somewhere along the way. Besides, most cares usually have a few spares anyway.

If your Trying to Avoid the LAw the last thing a fugitive needs is to be riding in car with bad lights.

Actually most cars I've seen come with a spare fuse or two already in the fuseblock. Just check the chart and you will see some in unused slots. Good tip to remember.

I was coming back from late class (around 9PM) and this guy infront did not have his headlights on. I knew because I didn't see a ray of light nor any reflections off of the car infront of him.

I tried to flash him but he ignored, dangerous as hell though, couldn't understand how he missed that.
