I drawed a pretty crayon picture. I made a mistake above; they ARE powered off the same fuse. But seperate circuits past the input to the headlamp switch.

I just noticed that you're in Nashville. Heh. Me too.

I'd offer to come look at it, but I don't know if I could do much more since it seems like it's probably the 'magic box,' and those are hard to test. I'm not quite sure where it's located, but it should be somewhere under the dash. I'd give it a few smacks and see if the lights flicker.

Come to think of it...if you don't give a crap about the DRL's, it looks like you can just unplug the module- it won't break any circuits. Pulling the fuse would be easier, but you need to be sure that it doesn't power anything else.

Worst case, you unplug the box and the problem persists. At least you eliminated it as the culprit.

I am having this exact same issue! Was your issue ever resolved and what did you do??

Hello and welcome to AnandTech forums. The thread you've posted in is over two years old and it is extremely unlikely that you will get an answer to your question by adding a new post to the end of it. Other forum members are likely to miss the date on the thread and simply reply to the original poster instead of to your new question. The original poster is also unlikely to be monitoring this thread and will probably never see your post.

The best way to get an answer in situations like these is to send a PM (private message) to the person who started this thread and to ask them directly how they resolved the issue.
