Been calling around all morning to try and find a swing set as walmart has deleted them so they are discontinued.

I have to drive 35 miles BUT they have a camden(?) for only 95 bucks in EAGAN

Gonna go run through the shower and drive to eagan to get this gift for my son.

get ready for pics later this afternoon:D

Travis,
Check out Menards before buying at Walmart. I've gotten some good deals at Menards before on swingsets. They ought to be closing them out there too.

The kits go down BUt the wood is still pricey.

I am going to design a big one next spring IF the kid plays on it.

What's the deal with the closing out of all the swingsets? When I was a kid just about every other kid I knew owned one. I can't imagine their popularity has gone down that much. Are saftey issues to blame or something?

You don't need to shower before going to Wal-Mart. Hardly anyone showers before going there.

Regarding the discontinuation of them. Is Wal-Mart getting rid of them and never stocking them again? Or, is it just a seasonal clearance like all of their other lawn and garden merchandise?

Good luck with finding and assembling the swing set. I'm sure your child will be quite happy with it once it's up and ready to play on.

JUST seasonal they don't sell them in the winter time.

I am back and going to attempt the assembly of this BEAST!

Never saw them at the one in Mankato (where I frequent)

I got this one at HALF OFF so I think this was a good deal. It was the one my wife wanted so THis worked out well for us.

Where are the safety brackets/chains to hold it down? Where are the woodchips or sand under the set to cushion his fall?

Geesh!!!
