Ok, spending two weeks camping in Utah in June.
Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon, Arches National Park and Canyonlands.
Am thinking of buying a new toy for the trip so I am looking for thoughts or suggestions.
I have a:
Nikon D70s
Nikon 18-70mm lens, the nice one that came with the camera
Sigma 170-500mm
Quantary 70-300mm zoom with macro
The little nikon flash and a tripod.
Am thinking about the fixed 50mm since they are cheap and are faster than anything I currently own. Expect to be taking tons of sunrise and sunset photos since that is when the lighting looks the best.
Budget is most likely less than $500, but I could go higher if someone comes up with a really good suggestion.
