Well, it's certainly been a while since I've posted, so I would like to say wassup to everyone. I was just wondering if anyone gets headaches playing games? I have been getting them and they are are ruining my gaming experience. I run my monitor @ 1024x768@75hz, with the Nvidia software overriding the refresh rates in Direct 3D apps to 75hz, but that doesn't seem to help much at all. I went and had my eyes checked out, and everything was good to go. It only happens when playing PC games, PS2 games are fine. Anyone have any thoughts? Would buying an LCD help?

I play many hours a day for the past several years, @ 1024 X 768 and 100 Hz, eyestrain once in a while but no headaches.

Mine is at 85Hz, I see no flicker and I can stay here playing for 8 hours and possibly more. Since it only happens when playing video games, check your graphics settings maybe you have something your eyes don't like, make sure your refresh is overriding. See if you monitor supports 85Hz and move it up a noch.
