Headaches in a specific location.

Lately, I've been getting a small throb in my head, but it's not all over... it's only on the right side of my forehead, just about where my skull starts to curve back away from my face. It seems to be aggrivated by physical exersion or possibly stress (as many of you know, I'm in the process of bidding on a house). Could it be eye strain? Any thoughts would be good.

I hope it's <ahnold>Notta' tumah</ahnold>. That would suck.

Do you experience any sensitivity to light with those headaches? I got the same type of thing for about two weeks straight when I was in 8th grade, and it turned out to be cluster headaches. They came on every single day, at the same time. It sucked.

Naw, no sensitivity that I've noticed and it's not every day.

I have had exactly what you are talking about. Its a throbbing sensation that may cover an area of the a half dollar, could be bigger. Happens at different places on my head sometimes. I have heard they are caused from lack of sleep.

Yeah, that's about the size of it. They dont last as long as normal headaches either, it's just a few throbs for a little while they they go away, till maybe a little later. I thought I slept plenty, but maybe I just have convinced myself of that.

Aye, thats it. Maybe it isn't lack of sleep, I don't know, but they suck.

Actually for the past couple of days I've had the exact same problem in the exact same spot that you mentioned. I've chalked it up to seasonal allergies, but having taken some allergy stuff it isn't really helping (nor is ibuprofen).

Does yours feel like it's almost right behind the eye?

I used to have problems with migraines but for a while now I get something like that. I'll get quick sharp, yet not shooting, pains in one of about 3 or 4 areas of my head, they only last a couple seconds and I get them a few times a day. I get them probably 3 inches directly above my right ear, near my temple (not as often) or else a little above and behind my left ear. I have no clue what it is but it kills🙁

edit: I usually get a good amount of sleep

Naw, it's up towards the top of my head a bit more... and yeah, ibuprofen doesnt work for me either.

yeah it's that for me. Sometimes in the afternoon light just becomes unbareable. Painful stabbing feeling behind the right eye. More and more often as I'm getting older. The end is near!
