Headache after I eat lunch...

Anyone else experience this? Seems like everytime I go to lunch, I have a headache when I sit down to go back to work. If I don't eat anything during the day...I'm fine.

It kinda sucks.

could be a food allergy, among a few hundred other things...

Try to keep track of what you eat and see if there is something in common. It may be a environmental thing too, leaving an office to the fresh air (after being in the office, so not first thing in the morning) and then returning to the office air. Or it could be the sunlight, or the...

hmmm could be sunlight. We have that "natural lighting" in our office, and i only go outside to go to lunch then back to my desk.

oh well...weird.

Do you drink alot of caffeinated drinks at lunch? I get headaches when I have too much caffeine.

If anything it is not enough caffeine. Caffeine is probably it though....one cup of coffee in the morning, none till lunch, then a coke/pepsi/dr pepper whatever there is... then none till i go home.

If you want to rule out a food problem, order your lunch in for a couple days and see if you still get them. If you don't, you can rule out the food.

as for drinking the same thing...no. sometimes i'll have juice, sometimes a beer, sometimes soda...

yeah, i was actually just about to comment on that. we have an in-house cafe and when i eat there i still get a headache.
