head-worn monitor?

I once saw these glasses that you wear that replace your monitor. They were supposed to make it seem like the monitor is a 60ft screen or something. Anyone know where I could find something like that? They are probably really expensive, but it's a cool idea.

Those are neat. But the ones I saw were like a vr helmet but in glasses form sort of. They totally covered your eyes and I really would like to find them, because I would consider buying a pair. They sure would free up desk space.

I would guess searching the net for 'gamer goggles' would give you the best mix of links.

Every time I've read a review or heard someone talk about them phrases like 'intense eyestrain' 'massive headache' and 'nausea' are soon to be found. Problem is while the display looks like a 60 foot screen 20 yards away in reality you're still looking at something less than three inches from the lens of your eye. Some people have spacial reality problems as their brain process "uh, looking close, seeing far" and others don't. But all have the same problem of being focused on the exact same point for an extended period.

Hold your fingers up in front of your eyes about 3 inches away and focus in. Now hold it. For a minute. Now for an hour. Now for an afternoon.
