Head Phone Jacks

I have seen a "How-to" on one of the forums on installing a headphone jack on the front of your tower. This particular one described how to install as to disable the speakers when plugged in. Yes I saved it, but I can't find it. I can get the jack, but have no idea when it would tie in. Can some one help on this?

I have though about doing the same think but I desided it was easier to just use the headphone jack on the cdrom drive. I am installing a microphone jack on the front of my computer along with a line in jack. Though I am taking a wire and putting a male plug on one end and a female jack on the other end so I can just plug it into the my sound card.

You can check out FrontX its a live drive type thing with just a few connectors and pretty cheap, it bypasses the speakers when the headphones are in too, I used to have one and found it quite useful.
