Wow... I'm surprised so many people like head... every time I've seen people pour a glass of beer they're careful not to get head.

Anyone who's serious about beer will tell you that the Head is responsible for a decent portion of the scent and flavour of a beer.

Only American's don't care about head on a beer.... American beer has no taste anyhow.

I was astounded to learn that the correct answer depends on the beer. I tend to be an ale/lager man, myself.

I should point out that not all "american beer" is budweiser or miller... there's pleanty of micro brews that are good. Yuengling is one of my favorite's from PA... and there's New Castle and Anchor Bay to name a few. So I think it's more correctly stated as "American National Brewerys" =)
