I know that the pope is in head of all the catholic churches, so who is the head of all the christian/prostant churches?
 
no one, no such thing

that is what luther and the break was about , in part at least. they didn't like the pope (and other stuff)
 
Depends on the denomination I guess. The spiritual leader of the Anglican and Episcopal churches is the Archbishop of Canterbury.
 
There are so many forms of Christian churches, they aren't ruled under a hierarchy such as the Catholic Church.

Bingo. There is no human leader of the church as a whole other than the whole all-god/all-man thing.

A man (like the Pope or Archbishop of Canterbury and whatnot) are cannot be "the" leader of the church because they have a boss too which makes them... not the leader. Or something. 😛
