HEAD in SVN - What does it stand for?

I never realized it was an acronym - to me, it's always meant the youngest revision available for a given resource/repository.

I don't think it is an acronym. I've always just treated it as the current developmental revision.

Not really. The head of a linked list is sometimes the oldest in the list. 😛
