I know this is silly topic but I would like to know if anyone of u guys get headache from computer (screen) montior? I m thinking to switch to lcd flat monitor cuz i always get headaches after maybe an half hour everytime I m on computer... I know it's coming from the montior. I even adjusted the brightments, etc... Add more light in room... Nothing helpful...

When I was using my friend's computer that has lcd montior. I noticed myself that I havent get any headache from it. Is it normal???

try upping your monitor's refresh rate. sounds like you still have it at 60hz.

right click on desktop > properties > settings > advanced > monitor

check off "Hide Modes that this monitor cannot display", and then select the highest refresh rate available from the drop-down list. remember, you have to reset this every time you switch to a new resolution.

I didn't get headaches, but my old (crappy) monitor used to bother my eyes. My NEC 19" CRT didn't (beautiful monitor..sold it with my last computer), and my current LCD monitor doesn't either. Upgrade. 🙂

I've noticed since I've changed over to LCD monitors..if I have to use a crt monitor I get sleepy.....😕

It has always been on 75 refresh rate... I refused to use 60 refresh cuz it's annnoying flicker heh.....

when i was a kid i was introduced to warcarft 2. i wasnt a stranger to games, but this was addictive and i played 6-8 hours a day...i had headaches for the first few days, maybe 3 or 4...i dont get them from staring at a monitor now, i could look at internet pr0n and play enemy territory all day now without needing any aspirin...ohhh the glory

Do any of you wear special glasses for computer users? I think they call it computer vision syndrome, not sure.

In the mid afternoon I'll usually get a headache and a wicked bloodshot eye in the right side of my right eye.

is the resolution on your monitor sharp or is it fuzzy?

Sharp and very clear. My CRT monitor is an excellent montior but just cant figure what's wrong with my head everytime I look at it ..... I think I will go ahead and buy LCD flat montior whenever I can afford. To see if it makes any difference... I m starting to avoid my computer since two days ago.

Yes, I have heard about special glasses computer but they re a joke. It's almost same as regular glasses... . My friend, who works at opticial, said it has do nothing with glasses...
