It's beautiful, a 12 year warranty GE 50 gallon gas water heater (the plumber was impressed with it)

Took 3 of us & a hydraulic jack to leverage the damn thing into the closet & up over the drip pan, but it's done🙂

Did you know that the life of the warranty is designed specifically for the size of the anode bar on the water heater!!?!! As soon as the 12 years of warranty is up, corrosion begins!

There's a bit more difference than that, all the water heaters tested by Consumer Reports that had a 12 year warranty had more insulation & were more efficient than the shorter warrantied WH's. Except for the White Westinghouse which were identical...
