HDVP in GeForce3

Well, I'm getting a new projection system, and I am going to use a computer to drive it. I have basically decided to go with a GeForce3. Can anyone suggest a good GeForce3 card with a DVI output? Also, it would be nice if it had some video in/out features as well. My other question is on what Nvidia calls the "High Definition Video Processor" in its geforce 3. They say that it is capable of processing HDTV signals, but that to view this stuff on your tv, you need an inexpensive DTV reciever card. What is that? If I want to use the comp to decode HDTV signals, what am I going to have to do?

I can't really answer the first part because the video quality varies widely from manufacturer.

I'll take the 2nd one. The HDVP, as they call it is essentially useless untill someone offers a software based "HDTV receiver" card. Since one hasn't arrived, it isn't likely to arrive soon, as the industry is encouraged by the MPAA not to release such a product. So, if you must have an HDTV card you only have the option of purchasing a Janus based card (full hardware decoding)from AccessTV, Teleman's HiPix or Hauppauge's WinTV-HD. Seriously, ATI's cards would do a better job at decoding anyways, as it has more hardware support (not that it matters).
