So like a lot of people, I am looking at a new HDTV. I have space for a Rear projection so that is the bang for buck winner, especially in the 1080p resolution which I want. My girlfriend sees 'rainbows' in the DLP sets so that rules them out. We look at the stores and decided the Sony 50A2000 was the way to go. Basically, where does everyone buy their 'big ticket' electronics? Good/Bad experiances with any specific store?

Sony 50A2000 - $2200

PC Richards - $2000

Best Buy - $2400
Circuit City - $2300

I just bought a Hitachi 65F59 (CRT projection) from CC, but that's because it was on sale there. I ended up having to pay $70 for delivery, because MAN was that a huge box. Plus I didn't have to carry it into the house.

can't you ignore which store has the best pricing?
doesn't everybody price match.
so compare everything else instead; delivery price, quality of service, price of extended warranty etc.

personally i shop a lot at best buy, for me it's a local company.

I've actually heard good things about Sears and price-matching.

Pricematch Crutchfield then use the $40 off coupon from Circuit City for more savings.

I like Sears, personally. They match competitors pricing. However, I've never purchased anything from them that was big enough that I had to have them install it.
