I'm getting tired of trying to fix this problem on the knowledge that i know. I have a 32inch LCD HTDV that is hooked to my PC with a DVI vis HDMI cable. On the pc with the 6800 and latest drivers I can select a non HDTV signal as this screen shot shows which allows me for a 1366 by 768 image over HDMI

On my pc with a 8800GTS 320 I cant even select this option as shown

Whats even more annoying is that some drivers wont even allow me to view that tab of Change the Signal or HD format and instead its completely blank.

I've tried 3 different Nvidia drivers for my 8800GTS and only the 101.2 allows me to access this tab. Nvidia's latest drivers wont even allow me to select this option.

What do I do to fix this because the scaling of 720P or 1080I on my HDTV looks like crap compared to a native digital signal I had before.

You need to find the checkbox that says "only show display capable resolutions" or something like that. Basically the drivers will only show resolutions that the display says it is capable of viewing (it is part of the DVI device hand-shake where the display will report what it is, and what resolutions it can use).
