HDTV tuner card

I bought this card a few days ago from CompUSA.

I tried it last night. After watching a program for about 10 minutes, the sound started to have a delay with respect to the picture. It was quite noticeable.

This was not an HDTV broadcast. But, it was a digital broadcast anyway received on ATSC.

I am not experienced with tuner cards. This is my first. Is there a solution for this? If not, I will have to return it.

never had one of these cards, only experience i've had with HDTV PVR cards are the ones at http://www.pchdtv.com/ and they are Linux (MythTV/Freevo) only, but it sounds like your video is recording at 30fps and playing back at the standard NTSC format of 29.97 fps, after a while the audio will get ahead of the video because the video is playing just a tiny bit too slowly.

It could be the software you're using? Hope you get someone who's used the card before.
