HDTV Retailer Suggestions?

Looking to drop a good chunk of change on a HDTV.
Strongly looking at a Samsung HLR-5668 which would cost ~ $2,700 shipped from the cheaper online retailers (Abes of Maine & Butterfly Photo) both of which have high rating online but MANY sketchy reviews online, see this link for Butterfly Photo http://www.dealtime.com/xMR-Butterfly%20Photo.com~MRD-301316~S-1~PG-2
8 of the 10 reviews have a rating 1/5, 1 @ 2/5, 1 @ 5/5.
Yet with these poor reviews, the avg rating is a 4/5?? must have been a bad month?

From my searching J&R Music seems to be a good e-retailer choice (used by Amazon too)

Any comments on HLR-5668 welcome. Not looking to spend a penny over 3k (don't tell my wife)

I would strongly advise you buy locally so that if something is not right, you can exchange it. Big LCDs and plasmas are not easily manhandled - most are a 2-man lift beyond 37-inches.

I just bought a 40-inch JVC LCD HDTV and when I got it home, I found the analog channels would not load nor be seen. Turned out to be a defective analog controller board. I returned it and got a replacement - it owkrs perfectly, analog, diital, and HD.

Here's the resultant system . . .

Samsungs are generally good as are Sonys.
