Hi,

I have an Xbox 360 and my HDTV supports all resolutions up to 1080i (1366x768) and I want to know if I should set the Xbox360 to 1080i or 720p, I tried both but I haven't noticed no marked difference. I also want to know if a game will revert to another resolution if the TV is set to another different resolution. The TV information is found here

Any help appreciated.

Use the setting that is the default for your television, Maximum Panel Resolution: 1366 x 768 would indicate that you are native at 720p, everything else is scaled.

720p is going to get scaled too, but that's the closest you're going to get.

Just about all 360 content is 720p so you might as well stick with that.

You'd only notice a difference if you got the HD DVD drive since that outputs at 1080i/1080p.

1366x768 is not 1080i. It's 720p.
