Consumer vs. Industrial TVs....I don't get it. Our company ordered the following and is offering to get one for me too:

Work TV

Why not get this Panasonic

Second TV has built-in tuner, speakers, more colors, more contrast but is a lot cheaper. How can Panasonic sell the first TV for so much more? I can't even find the first TV at bestbuy or circuit city to compare.

Edited: fixed links

The business one is really only for those who don't want that thick bezel that the home one gets. Otherwise, get the home one.

Another nice thing about the home one: warranty work is done at your home, instead of you needing to lug the plasma in to a local service center.

the barebones ones are for commercial applications-- displays at banks, airports, etc-- you have to buy all the blades, the speakers, etc. sometimes commercial applications don't need ATSC tuners. the home version has everything included. you won't find the commercial barebones one at Best Buy.
