HDTV possible with Dell 2007 FPW?

I've been tooling around the internet trying to find a difinitive answer on whether or not I can use my 20" Dell LCD for HD viewing. It seems like the monitor can do upwards of 720p? I see that there is a component cable connection on the back of the monitor so I guess there is hope 😀

If what I am assuming is correct, that it is HD capable, what HD tuner would you guys recommend. I pretty much just want to watch HD at home in my computer room. If it can record well then all the better.

I have a XFX 7800GT, will this be enough graphics power to handle this? Will I need to switch back and forth between the DVI/component connection to watch TV?

Thanks for the help!

EDIT: Sorry my card may actually be a 7600GT not in from of my machine at home right now.

Do you want to run the HD through your computer or watch straight through the monitor? The Dell should work fine with just the latter (from a cable box, Tivo, or standalone tuner).

I'd like to look straight through my monitor. Since we can confirm that would work can anyone make any suggestions on hdtv tuner cards?

Most HDTV tuner cards send the image data to your video card, so I wouldn't think you'd need to have a separate cable for it..
