Just got this set, and non-HD images just dont look right. It's most noticable with text, where it sometimes looks blurred. The only thing I can really relate the appearance to are the filters available with some VG emulators (like ZSNES) that smoothe edges. It makes some pictures and borders look sharper, but text -especially small text- is really messy. Any way to fix this? I couldn't find anything in the manual or on-screen menu that related to this. Does anyone have this TV and is experiencing a similar problem?

This is common issue for people that use/get an HDTV for the first time.

The issue is that the TV shows more detail and as a result shows up the imperfections in clarity instead of blurring them together like a standard display would.

Most HD TV's have adjustable sharpness setting presets that you can select a lower quality setting for when you're watching non HD signals.
