I just realiezed that all my local channels are now broadcasting in HDTV...my question is what do I have to do to pick up these signals. I want to pick the channels up from over the air on my Samsung 27in HDTV. How would I go about doing this?

Samsung tube HDTVs are 1080i capable.

You will need a OTA tuner (they can be had for 170-200 on ebay) and an antenna that can tune UHF signals.

you need an HDTV receiver if your tv doesn't already have one built in, which it probably doesn't. More than likely, it's just hdtv ready.

Yep, you'll have to get a HDTV OVA tuner like the samsung SIR T151. They go for about $200 on ebay...
