HDTV on older ATI card

I have a component-out video cable that came with my 9800pro but it doesn't work on my 7500 (only get all blue screen). Is there any way to get HDTV out on an older video card? (and have it actually BE HDTV, not just the connection)

The break-out box to component video adapter only worked on 8500 or later. So for your 7500, the answer is no.

The AIW 8500, 9500, 9600, 9700 and 9800 series use this ATI DVI-to-HDTV adapter

The AIW 9600 and regular 8500 (not AIW) use this ATI VGA-to-HDTV adapter

And AIW 9700 and AIW 9800 use this ATI AIW HDTV output cable

Apparently, you need at least a 8500 to get HDTV output...
