HDTV on my laptop

It's getting close to football season, and I would like to see some of the games in HDTV. I don't want to buy a TV, and since I see usb HDTV receivers advertised, I wonder if that would be a decent alternative (so I can watch games on my laptop screen). Can anyone give any guidance? ie...how satisfactory the results would be, where to find a beginner's discussion, etc.

Yes, my Dell M60 Display is 15.4" WS and has a native 1920x1200 resolution with Divco HDTVFusion USB 5 I can watch HDTV over the air with no complaints! Amazing when you are sitting in a Japanese Restaurant enjoying a combo of sushi and a live HD game.

What kind of video card do you have in the laptop? I'm guessing beiruty has FX Go700 which is more powerful than average for laptop video.

I use an Artec t14 usb which works great with my Dell Ins 9300 (ati x300se). Most DTV's 4:3 works w/o lagging but hdtv (16x9) has some lagging, mostly due to the g/c and slower cpu, a Pent. Mobile 1.6ghz
You can get the Artec at ZZF for $59.99 shipped.
Better still is some review from avsforum
