Is there such a device as a switch box or something similiar that can be used when a tv has only one hdmi plug, but a person has multiple hdmi devices?

Yes. You can get these on the net or in Best Buy.

EDIT: Just checked out some prices, you're looking at anywhere from $88-$300 depending on what you get and how many devices you need.

As suggested by some folks over in Hard Forums

Monoprice

Don't know how the HDMI splitters work, but lots of folks use the DVI splitters with the Gateway for multiple input devices.

Yeah, that should work fine.

If you're paranoid about cable stuff you can go ahead and get a thicker one though :)
