Do the HDMI cables from Cablesforless work as well as the MONSTER ones? 16 bux versus 119...

120 seems very high for just a cable? any other cable company recommended?

HDMI is digital, unless you are really exceeding the standard spec. length there should be no detectable difference.

provided the cable is up to spec bandwidth and length wise, you'll be fine with the cheapest one you can find.

Monster cables (while actually good cables) are severely overpriced. Severely as in 500%.

John just got an affordable HDMI to DVI converter ($24) to replace his expensive Bluejeanscable one.

He says he's getting the same quality picture as far as he can tell.

I've ordered from cablesforless a couple times. Good experiences.
