I might build a HTPC (home theatre PC) for my parents, do you guys know any graphics card that's capable with HDTV? I did a search and there's a PCI card that costs 300, which is not bad at all.

thanks

If you look in this thread, you'll find tons of stuff about those types of cards. It's a HUGE thread, but it's very informative for that kind of thing.

Are you looking for a card that will output to a HDTV or a card that decodes a OTA HDTV signal?

This card may be what you are looking for, and I believe the Radeon 9700, as well as some other Radeon's, have a component video adapater that may work for your purposes.

If you just want to use your HDTV as a monitor, you can get the ATI HDTV Component adapter which only works with Radeon 8500s, 9500s, and 9700s. Or you can get the Audio Authority VGA to Component adapter which works with any video card. If you want a HDTV tuner, I believe Hauppage makes a PCI HDTV tuner.
