When I'm watching an HD channel on my Westinghouse 42inch LCD (integrated ATSC/QAM tuner) for long periods, the audio slowly gets de-synced from the video. I'll have to switch channels and then switch back for the audio to sync up again.

Is this normal? crappy tuner? crappy broadcast?

We have Comcast analog cable and get the basic stuff in QAM but OTA digital stations have the same problem...

Definitely not normal. If it happens with OTA and qith QAM I would say it's the TV. Does it happen with channels that are not HD? What about with a DVD player?

No, it's only certain digital channels that do it. NBC and CBS lose sync, ABC and Fox do not. It's really weird. All the analog stations are fine as are DVD's.

I noticed The Office on NBC HD was way out of sync this last Thursday.

Charter HD
Component input to tv
RCA audio to tv
RCA out of tv to receiver

I've also noticed before that some SD channels are out of sync as well. This was before I got the HD tuner. My previous CRT tv did not do this. Ever.
